Theme/Learning Area : Literature/Literature Musical Practise
Learning Outcomes :
1.2 a, 1.2 b Take part in social interaction by carrying out a variety of language functions, and discussing plans and arrangements, solving problems and making decisions.
Learning Objectives : By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:-
- Play their role in a drama presentation
- Produce scenes involving dance and singing
(Students are given the script and have practiced prior to this session)
Activities :
- Students are gathered behind their respective classes and they prepare for a practise.
- They practice and teacher gives ideas and comments.
- Each participant is to say out their dialogues or act out their role, according to the script.
- The crews should work together and arrange the props to ensure the smooth-flowing of the scenes.
Language Focus : SVA, Tenses, Sentences, Pronunciation
Pedagogy : Constructivism, Multiple Skills

Theme/Learning Area : Literature/ Literature Musical Presentation
Learning Outcomes :
1.3 a, 1.2 b Take part in social interaction by carrying out a variety of language functions, and discussing plans and arrangements, solving problems and making decisions.
Learning Objectives : By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:-
1. Play their role in the literature musical with the specific guidelines
2. Present the literature musical in ten minutes and win first, second or third place..
Activities :
- Students are gathered at the SEM Foyer and they prepare for a presentation.
- They present the drama and teacher judges.
- Each participant is to say out their dialogues or act out their role, according to the script.
- The crews should work together to ensure the smooth-flowing of the scenes.

Theme/Learning Area : Returning Reading Programme Books
Learning Outcomes : By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:-
Listen to ,read, view and respond to literary works by:
1. Understanding and telling in one’s own words the story and poem heard and read, and giving one’s own opinion of the text
2. Explaining the message the writer is trying to convey and discussing how this relates to one’s life.
Learning Objectives : By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:-
1. Relate 2 moral values in the story they have read with their daily life.
2. Mention whether they have improved their language proficiency after finishing the story and the reading programme as a whole.
Activities :
1. Students are asked about the story they have read, and they respond orally.
2. They are then asked of the lessons they have gathered.
3. For language proficiency, students are asked to jot down 5 new vocabularies they have picked up and the definitions. As a whole they share tell the class whether they have improved their English proficiency or the otherwise.
