Learning Outcomes:
11.c Make friends and keep friendship by talking about self, family and friends, interests, part events, feelings, personal experiences and understanding when others talk about themselves,
11.d exchanging ideas, information and opinions on topics of interest.
Learning Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:-
- Share information about their ambition they have decided,
- Share their diagram of “My career steps” to class.
Activities:
- Teacher elicits information from students on what career they have decided to have in the future.
- Teacher writes a few careers with missing letters, and students guess the missing letters to complete names of occupations e.g. d_ct_r,: doctor, Gyn_e_olo_iSt : Gynaecologist and others.
- Teacher share information about Crimea Medical State University, Ukraine, Russia, where MARA students continue their study in Medics. Students are asked of the sources to find for designing one’s career path.
- Students are encouraged to share information on what they want to be and why have they chosen the career.
- Then, students draw a diagram on their steps to their ambitions. They share their information to the class.
- The lesson is concluded.

Theme/Learning Area : CAREER (PREPARING A RESUME)
Learning Outcomes:
- 2.3 d and f Present information to different audiences by presenting information in non-linear forms including tables, graphs, diagrams, charts and vice-versa, composing, revising and editing drafts and checking accuracy of grammar, spelling, punctuation and grammar.
Learning Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:-
1) Write a short resume with correct information and grammar
Activities:
1. Eliciting information from the class, on what they know about resumes, and their experience in preparing resumes.
2. Students are shown a sample of resume, and list down 5 technical terms from the handout.
- They are asked to prepare a resume using the titles mentioned in the sample e.g. qualifications, skills and innovation.
- A few students are asked to share their resume.
- The class is concluded stating the importance of writing in accurate grammar.

Learning Outcomes :
11.c Make friends and keep friendship by talking about self, family and friends, interests, part events, feelings, personal experiences and understanding when others talk about themselves,
11.d exchanging ideas, information and opinions on topics of interest.
Learning Objectives :
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:-
1) Answer 5 questions related to their career path during the interview session
2) Express their good traits to the interviewer.
Activities :
1. The previous lesson is recapped. Students are reminded of their previous lesson.
2. Teacher elicits information from students on the types of interviews they would go, such as interview for Skim Pelajar Cemerlang, to enter foundations and job interviews.
3. Students are exposed to a job interview. 2 groups of students, 5 each are selected to prepare 3 short interview questions and 2 advertisements in search for right candidates for certain posts e.g. dentist, optician, gynecologist etc and the required criteria, and paste them on the white board.
4. Other 15 students write down what are their good qualities that can be put forth. Such as hardworking, independent, resourceful etc. they look for their posts and go for a short interview.
5. Students are attended by teacher if they are out of ideas
6. The lesson is concluded

Learning Objectives : By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:-
1. Make inferences about the characters
2. Express their opinions on the characters and relate their opinions with textual evidences
Activities :
(prior to the class, they are required to read chapter 1)
- The characters are introduced, and they are asked on the character’s behavior.
- They are led to recognize the roles in chapter 1.
- Teacher leads the students in coining up with the terms to characterize.
- The class concludes by mentioning the importance of coining the right term and textual evidences to support.

- Students express their opinions on chapter 1.
- They are shows the plot graph and the importance of understanding the plot graph.
- They share information on the events happening and the places while teacher guides.
- The lesson concludes by mentioning the importance of understanding the plot and write a synopsis.
