INTRODUCTION: Pupils should be able to see a real life scenario where money is subtracted. CONTENT: Pupils should be able to subtract coins up to RM1 and notes up to RM10. To reinforce subtracting of coins up to RM1 and notes up to RM10.CONCLUSION: Pupils should be able to subtract coins up to RM1 and notes up to RM10.To reinforce concept learnt. | · Pupils see a video of a real life scenario where money is subtracted. · The teacher can ask the pupils whether they know how much money the child has left. · Pupils can view the CD-ROM and from the animation of real coins and notes, the pupils can learn to subtract coins up to RM1 and notes up to RM10. · In the first example, the pupils will learn the concept of subtracting coins up to RM1 and notes up to RM10. · In the second example, the pupils will learn to do the subtraction of using mathematical representation. · Pupils must say the answers to each question. · Teacher can type pupils' answers or call 1 pupil volunteer to give his/her answers. · The teacher can ask the pupils to write down what a list of items · Ask the pupils to add up the total amount of money that they are going to spend. · Then ask them to subtract away from the RM10 that they have. · Ask some pupils to present to the class what they have added and subtracted. · The teacher can point out any mistakes made by the pupils. · The teacher can reinforce their concept of addition of money as well. · Pupils complete worksheet. | CD-ROMCD-ROM CD-ROM CD-ROM CD-ROM (Worksheet) | 2 minutes 5 minutes 10 minutes 5 minutes Homework | Click Introduction button.
